During my masters degree course in Digital art, I kept a blog to talk about my work, much of which was inspired by tango dancing. You can read some if you like by following the link below. Also during the course I made some dance films, which you can now view on the Gallery page of this website

blog "The tango has the power to pull two strangers together into one, to dance out their desires... to be great lovers and heroes, if only for a moment. It's the whisper of sensuality brought on by the hint of perfume. The tango is also the glamour of the ballroom and the allure of the underworld. It's the opulence of Paris and the smoky darkness of a Buenos Aires cafe. It's the world of subtle metaphors that captures the melancholy heart."

Norwich is excited about Argentine Tango. There are new classes, events, practicas and social gatherings springing up everywhere. This website is devoted to supporting and ecouraging that growth by keeping track (with your help) of what's on where, and also giving you, the tango community, a forum to express your ideas and hopes for the future of tango in our city.

You can add your own tango event to the calendar or make an announcement on the notice board. Browse the photo gallery to see recent events, or find out how to get to tango venues by looking at the tango map. If you have any ideas for this website I'd be happy to hear from you.
