Thursday Night Tango

THIS TERM CLASSES RUN
14th Jan - 1st April 2010
(18th Feb: no class - half term break)

Fran and Mitchell teach a drop in class on Thursday nights (term time only) at the Anglia Dance Academy studio in the converted church on the corner of Elm Hill and Wensum Street, opposite 'olive's' cafe... map

7.30pm - 8.30pm Basics, technique & musicality, suitable for beginners and all those wishing to refine their dance.
We teach a rolling series of five classes covering:
1. Walking in cross and parallel system and the tango embrace
2. Walking and a simple change of direction
3. Ochos
4. the Giro
5. the Cruzada

8.30pm - 9pm short class demonstrating an intermediate or advanced sequence of steps, suitable for tango dancers of six months or more.

8.30pm -10pm Dancing. NB if you take the first class you can carry on practicing after the class whilst teach in the other half of the room - we leave the music on.
